Please place all unwanted cell phones and used ink jet cartidges in the recylcing boxes in the back of church and on the window sill of the first floor of school. To date, we have earned $199.90 for our school. Keep those cartridges coming!

Thanks for all of your help. That money can purchase 2 large laser cartridges for our computers. Every little bit helps!

St. Barbara School accepts monetary donations of any size. All donations sent to the school are used for the school. All donations will be acknowledged with a thank you letter and can be used as a charitable contribution on your income tax. Think about helping a great school with terrific kids!

GENERAL MILLS BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

Every Box Top collected earns our school 10 cents. If you are a friend or an alumni of St. Barbara you can give your box tops to one of our students or send them directly to the school at 2867 S. Throop St. Chicago 60608.

Look for new product lines that carry the General Mills Boxtop for Ed.

DO NOT FORGET ABOUT THOSE CAMPBELL SOUP LABELS

Yes, we are still collecting Campbell soup labels. Send them to school or place them in the designated box in the back of church.

If you have or are willing to open a Target Store credit card, St. Barbara School can benefit. Just designate St. Barbara Elementary School as your school of choice and we receive 1% of everything you spend. For us it is FREE money!


MARKET DAY ITEMS NOW ON SALE AT THE SARA LEE STORE IN OAK LAWN

Several Sara Lee stores will be carrying market day items. Make sure you mention St. Barbara when making your purchase. Our school gets 5% of the sale!

ST BARBARA SCRIP PROGRAM

Did you know that St. Barbara has a gift certificate program that can raise money for our school and earn you a $ credit toward your tuition? Scrip certificates can be purchased for Jewel, Dominicks, restaurants, Bath & Body Works, etc. Mrs. Spalla takes orders in the back of church on most Sundays. Jewel and Dominick certificates can also be purchased at the parish center.

We are currently looking for the folowing slightly used items for our school:

window air conditioning units to replace old units in some of our classrooms.

small dorm-type refrigerator for our conference room

Fisher Price toys (farm, garage, airport, etc.)

Large playground equipment (that can be stored in the garage for the winter)
