Sisters’ Day of Thanksgiving
and Appreciation The good sisters of St. Joseph TOSF have been serving our Parish and Schools of St. Barbara since 1910. If you would like to show your appreciation and give thanks, please join us. A special day has been planned to gather as many sisters as possible that served at St. Barbara over the years to show our appreciation for their contributions. You are cordially invited to join the Sisters on Sunday, September 30, for Mass at 11:30 a.m., immediately followed by an appreciation dinner. We hope that you will join us. Please RSVP by this Tuesday, September 25 We hope that many of our parishioners come to this special Mass and Dinner. We need a count in order to place the food order with the caterer, Kasia. You can complete the form below and drop into the collection or at the rectory. Please note: The dinner is being hosted by the parish. There is no cost to attend the dinner, though you are welcome to make a donation with your reservation to help defray the expense of the Dinner (make checks payable to St. Barbara). We want as many parishioners as possible to attend this Appreciation Dinner for our Sisters. Also, there is no expectation of any further generosity than what you have already contributed to our special collection for the Sisters on August 18-19. There will only be open seating, no assigned seating. As always, volunteers are needed with setup, serving, and clean-up. Fr.
