Join other adults for a night of fun, food, and drink at Lawn Lanes, 6750 South Pulaski, on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011. Reservation deadline: Friday, January 14. Click here to download Reservation Form Your “Stars & Strikes” package includes two hours of bowling with use of house bowling ball & shoes, a delicious hot buffet, and 3 cocktails per bowler. Soft drinks and chips are also included. The buffet from Midway Catering & Banquets features: Roast Chicken w/dressing, Polish Sausage w/sauerkraut, Mostaccioli w/meat sauce, Tossed salad & hot veggies, and Midway’s famous dumplings. Cost is $40 per bowler, available to the first 36 interested bowlers. Non-bowlers can come and enjoy the buffet for $15. Food will be served at 7:45 p.m., with bowling from 8:00-10:00 p.m. Registration forms will be available in the back of church. Lawn Lanes is at 6750 S. Pulaski. Free parking in the bowling alley parking lot. All bowlers will receive one free game coupon from Lawn Lanes. Give the gift of bowling. A Night on the Lanes makes a great Christmas gift. for Married Couples, Men are like Waffles & Women are like Spaghetti Presenters: Tim and Denise Murray This will be an evening of sharing and enrichment for married couples based on the best selling book Men are Like Waffles-Women are Like Spaghetti. There is no cost for this event, though a free-will donation will be asked for to cover the cost of drinks and snacks. Married couples are invited to take some time out for themselves and do something good for their marital relationship. If you plan to attend, please make a reservation by signing up in church, calling the rectory, or e-mailing stbarbara@stbarbarachicago.org. Come spend a few hours learning how to better understand your spouse and accept each others differences. This will be an evening just for the two of you. You will not be asked to share anything personal in front of the group. This should be a most enjoyable evening for couples of all ages |
